"I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow."
- Woodrow Wilson, 28th president of US (1856 - 1924)

Our approach is born upon the realizations that companies at the top of the innovation game have acknowledged that “one size fits all” is not good enough and that they need to maintain access to a collection of more niche expert resources, each of which specializes in their own part of the picture.  In particular, for radical innovation to succeed, companies need access to clumpy networks of expertise.

Therefore, our core capabilities are to:

  1. Understand and plan an innovation program to address the specific needs of each different imperative that our clients have
  2. Know and engage the right people in our own clumpy network to bring in as needed

Our proprietary network is ever expanding.  Some of the highlights include the Cambridge UK Technology Cluster, the Boston area Innovators, the PDMA network, plus a large diversity of individuals and small specialist firms with whom we’ve worked successfully in the past.  See our network for some higher level overviews, and details of the network can be made available as needed and under confidentiality.

An important cluster of the network is a coalition of front end of innovation, opportunity discovery and strategy consultants who have similar levels of experience and capabilities.  This group provides a pool of “safe hands”, from which we can draw to form joint teams, or – when appropriate because of better fit – slot into run a project.  For more background on Geoff Waite, click here
